Great-grandmother Writes Christian Horror

Despite her grandmotherly looks, author Marilyn Meredith has written a very scary tale in the Christian horror genre.

Springville, CA (PRWEB) September 9, 2006 -- Award winning author, Marilyn Meredith's Cup of Demons is not for those who believe the spiritual world is only about good. Marilyn is a multi-published author including the award winning Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery series, the Rocky Bluff P.D. series, and other Christian horror novels.

Besides writing, Marilyn raised five children, and now enjoys her grandchildren and great grandchildren who range in age from their thirties to three years old. She lives in a small mountain community much like the setting in Cup of Demons and many of her other books. A sly smile and a shrug is the answer to the often asked question, "Do all the things you write about actually happen in your town?"

Cup of Demons is based on a verse in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 10:21 and legends heard over the years.

Reviewer Craig Alan Hart says "Cup of Demons is a well-told, engaging story that explores a topic many would pefer to ignore. Meredith tells a chilling tale which provides food for thought and reason for prayer."

Carolyn Scheidies of Author's Choice Review calls Cup of Demons "a look at the face of evil and the power of Christ."

Author Patricia A. Rasey calls Cup of Demons "a creative horror with a refreshing blend of inspiration."

Cup of Demons, ISBN 1-032695-24-9, 202 pages, e book, $5.50 (HTML or PDF), Trade Paperback $11.95, Publisher: Treble Heart Books is now available from http://www.trebleheartbooks.com or from the author at http://fictionforyou.com
