Accommodations:
The Lodge at Red River Ranch was built on the grand scale of the great Western lodges, with rustic log construction and elegant furnishings. The three story Great Room features open-beam construction with a massive floor-to-ceiling Anasazi-style fireplace. The Great Room showcases a piano, game nook, house phone, and furniture arranged for intimate conversation. The Lodge offers a reading alcove with plenty of books and magazines and a recreation room with games, an exercise machine, and home theater projector with VCR/ satellite feed. Guests have access to the Trading Post/Gift Shop, gardens, and front and side porches with outdoor seating.
Each of the 15 guestrooms is individually decorated and appointed with antique furnishings and artifacts. Each room includes its own fireplace and features a step-out balcony and in-room music. Luxury rooms comfortably accommodate additional guests and feature added amenities such as loveseats, sofas, and desks. Every morning breakfast is served in the dining room with a charming LGB train circling above. Dinner is served nightly.
Fishing:
The Red River Ranch is located on the Fremont River. Red River Ranch has over six miles of private access to this fabulous freestone river. It is not uncommon to land over 6 fish of 20" or greater in a single day of fly fishing. The trout of the Red River Ranch are all wild - no need for planted stocks. Dry fly hatches can be prolific on the Fremont River.
The Fremont River is the crown jewel of Utah'¬s less traveled trophy trout waters. Southern Utah is home to many other quality fly-fishing moving water and Stillwater fisheries. Red River Ranch is the only full-service outfitter and fly shop in the whole of Utah's southern half.
