Red Mountain Records Signs USA Artist & New Jersey Rock Music Icon -- Spike Ivory

This announcement marks the first USA signing for Red Mountain Records and will result in a 2007 album much not too different from the current, but with a more International feel and a much greater expense to capture his artistic vision. Spike Ivory is a well know New Jersey legend and has been crafting his unique style for over 20 years. His music has been described as down home American rock with a touch of the blues. He is a hard working, honest artist that has done everything the hard way.

His live stage experience and cutting performance has lead to Spike's songs receiving airplay around the world on Internet and broadcast radio stations, and has charted very well. His songs are a collage of life lessons, reflections and sharing what he has learned through his different relationships and experiences.

The current release "Velvet Chains" has been named one of the Top 100 Favorite albums of 2005 by Upstage Magazine and also Kweevak.com. The single "My Maria" charted in the Top 30 of 2005 at WCH Radio/St. Louis, Mo.

Spike Ivory joins the likes of a new wave of artists from Red Mountain Records Artists including Sumlaam, the Unfrozen Bodyguards, the Electric Ocean Project, and Fresh King.
