Nestlé Purina Makes 'The Right Call' with Blast Companies for Summer Sweepstakes

Using Blast Companies’ interactive voice response technology, Nestlé Purina exemplified their passion for pets and pet owners with a successful promotion for its Appawtizers™ brand Dog Snacks. Nestlé Purina was able to utilize Blast Companies’ technology to better interact with thousands of dog and cat lovers via cell phone during the promotion.

St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) September 1, 2006 -- Using Blast Companies’ interactive voice response technology, Nestlé Purina exemplified their passion for pets and pet owners with a successful promotion for its Appawtizers™ brand Dog Snacks. Nestlé Purina was able to utilize Blast Companies’ technology to better interact with thousands of dog and cat lovers via cell phone during the promotion.

The automated interactive voice response (IVR) technology allowed contest participants to dial an 800 number and enter for a chance to win prizes including a year supply of Nestlé Purina pet products. Callers were then also able to opt-in to receive dog or cat tips from Nestlé Purina delivered via text message to their cell phones. This process of mobile engagement™ allowed callers to interact with the sweepstakes and provided an easy entrance ramp to receive text messages of the customer’s choice. Mobile engagement is just one aspect of Blast Companies’ full spectrum of sophisticated messaging solutions and marketing platforms available to its clients.

Blast Companies not only provided the technology but also worked with us on all aspects of the promotion, and was an integral part to its success.
