Supercars Gather at Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes in Orlando; Vintage Warbirds, Exotic Cars, Motorcycles and Boats on Display

The Festivals of Speed takes place over two days, Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st. Saturday evening will see what is referred to as a “Jet Port Reception” and Sunday will feature a display of 75-100 exotic automobiles and motorcycles elegantly displayed throughout the perfectly manicured lawns & gardens of the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grade Lakes.

(PRWEB) September 5, 2006 -- The Festivals of Speed takes place over two days, Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st. Saturday evening will see what is referred to as a “Jet Port Reception” and Sunday will feature a display of 75-100 exotic automobiles and motorcycles elegantly displayed throughout the perfectly manicured lawns & gardens of the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grade Lakes.

The festival starts with the “Jet Port Reception” on Saturday evening. The reception takes place in an aircraft hanger amidst a surreal display of luxury aircraft, fine automobiles, custom motorcycles and stylish watercraft. Aircraft scheduled to attend include a vintage Beech 18 with leather and alligator interior, the Piaggio P-180 which is the official aircraft of the famed automotive manufacturer Ferrari, WW II fighter planes that include a authentic P-51 Mustang and a British Spitfire, Gulfstream jets and others. Beyond the display of aircraft, exotic cars and motorcycles that evening, guests will enjoy a premium brands open bar, themed food stations, a silent auction to benefit charity, displays of jewelry and other related lifestyle items, drawings to win a TISSOT watch, smooth jazz and more. The reception is open to the public with a ticket purchase.

Sunday will see a fabulous display of approximately 100 exotic cars, motorcycles and watercraft. Manufacturers product scheduled for display include Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Bimota as well as many others. On Sunday the setting will be that of the Four Diamond Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes. Inspired architecturally by the grand palazzos of Italy, the property redefines the meaning of the word luxury. Vehicles will be placed for display amidst the formal lawns and gardens of the resort to allow attendees the ability to stroll throughout the pampered property while enjoying fine wines from the Ritz-Carlton’s cellars and while taking in the beauty of the “rolling sculptures” placed for display.

According to festival owners Joe Sabatini, Samuel Ballinger and David Berndt, The “Da Vinci Salon” will be a must see‘. Attendees will visit with various lifestyle companies to view the latest and greatest luxury items. Names include Mont Blanc, LlaliqueTag Heuer, Lladro, Natalie K, Cohiba and others. The salon was conceived to form the ultimate complement to the splendid array of automobiles. Drawings to win items that include fine watches, smooth jazz, fashion displays and a silent auction to benefit charity will all add to the excitement. The day will end with an awards presentation to recognize those vehicles that receive awards. “Best of Show” will receive a crystal award by the famed Paris based company, Lalique as well as a Gevril timepiece.

The festival is expected to attract a capacity turnout much the same as the companies other events that take lace in St. Petersburg, Florida and Manhattan, New York. Although no ticket is required for admission to the Sunday display, a hotel valet parking fee will be in place. An advance ticket purchase is necessary for the Saturday evening Jet Port Reception.
