Moonlght And Valentino - A New Play Opens In Los Angeles
A Heartfelt Examination About Life With Four Good Friends And A Sexy New Man.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 8, 2006 -- The lighthearted comedic stage play, Moonlight And Valentino, which is known for its rich and genuine dialogue, will open at the Elephant Theatre on Thursday, September 14, 2006.
Written by Ellen Simon in the late 80s, this production is produced by Christina Mauro and directed by Emily Hands. Keeping with the original time period and setting, Moonlight And Valentino, will showcase the work of four up-and-coming actresses: Renata Green-Gaber; Cambria Stephens; Lisa Valerie Morgan; and Christina Mauro. The actors have a variety of stage and independent film credits and have all studied under actor Jeff Goldblum together.
Moonlight And Valentino captures the spirit of four women looking for answers to some of life's biggest questions. When Rebecca (played by Mauro), starts to cope with the accidental death of her husband, she gets instant support and extra baggage from family and friends who immediately show up on her doorstep. When a sexy housepainter named Valentino is hired to do work around the house, each woman learns, that no matter what life brings you, laughter, is always the best healer.
Mauro's Fly High Films, has assembled a crew which includes: Jennifer Fulmer (Set Designer); Julia Van Vilet (Costume Designer); Lauren E. Drzata (Lighting Designer); Amie Farquhar (Stage Manager); and Walter D. Morris (Key Art).
Moonlight And Valentino will run Thursday, September 14th through Saturday, October 14th.
