Eye for an Eye, the National Reality Television Show, Starring Judge “Extreme Akim” Takes Tony Danza’s Timeslot in the Los Angeles Market
Eye for an Eye, the reality courtroom television show, has cleared KCAL in Los Angeles for the 2006-2007 season. KCAL will air the program Monday-Friday at 9 and 9:30 a.m.
Charleston, SC (PRWEB) September 9, 2006 -- Atlas Worldwide Syndications and Distributions announced today that their reality courtroom television series Eye for an Eye, has cleared the Los Angeles market for the 2006-2007 season. The show will air on KCAL Monday-Friday at 9 and 9:30 am taking over Tony Danza’s slot. Eye for an Eye is coming off a successful premiere season and has cleared over 80% of the country for the 2006-2007 season.
Eye for an Eye, which stars Judge “Extreme Akim” (Akim Anastopoulo), will make the upgrade to KCAL on September 11th. “We are thrilled to be working with KCAL/KCBS and are thankful for the support they have given the program,” said Matt Slechter, VP of Sales and Marketing for Atlas Worldwide Syndications and Distributions. “We consider this to be a big leap forward for us in the Los Angeles Market and for the show as a whole. The show is now cleared in 14 of the top 15 markets and 80 percent of the country. Eye for an Eye captures the essence of justice and puts punishment front and center. Eye for an Eye stars Akim Anastopoulo, a former State Prosecutor for South Carolina, alongside Sugar Ray Phillips (former middleweight boxing champion of the world) as bailiff.
