The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival Gears Up for 8 Days of Screenings, Parties and Panels in Los Angeles, the City of Entertainment
The NYIIFVF, known as the "voice of independent film” will present their bi-annual LA event from September 14-21, showcasing over 200 diverse film features, shorts, and documentaries, and hosting filmmakers from 20 countries. The festivities kick-off with the now legendary opening night networking party for filmmakers and artists at the Wyndham Bel Age Hotel (1020 N. San Vicente Blvd). Screenings will be held at the Fairfax Laemmle 7907 Beverly Blvd. Parties and panel discussions will also be held at a variety of locations in the West Hollywood area.

The New York International Independent Film & Video Festival is a distinctive event in the entertainment and arts communities with world premieres and over 100 international and domestic films, shorts, documentaries and animations.
NYIIFVF begins its celebrations along with The New York International Art Festival (NYIAF) on September 14th with an opening night event at the Bel Age Hotel at 1020 N. San Vicente Blvd. in West Hollywood. The Opening Night Exhibition is a vital opportunity for connections to be made between filmmakers, artists, cast and crew, and Press & Industry representatives. The festival team will be available throughout the event to assist in bringing parties together.
The festival attracts many global entries, including: Australia, Spain, Mexico, France, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, South Africa, Austria, Portugal, Norway and the U.K. The scope of the festival ranges from high profile to novice, so one may experience an array of films and individuals driven by independent movie making.

Opening Night along with the New York International Art Festival will take place on Thursday, September 14th from 7pm to midnight in the Grand Ball Room at The Bel Age Hotel. (1020 N. San Vicente Blvd, West Hollywood, CA). Opening Night Tickets are priced at $20 each. This is an ALL AGES event.
