Bridgestone Chooses Asprova as Its Advanced Planning & Scheduling System - Eastnet to Provide Implementation Services

Bridgestone (Changzhou) decided to partner with solution provider Eastnet and implement Asprova APS as its advanced planning and scheduling system.

TOKYO, Japan (PRWEB) September 9, 2006 -- Bridgestone (Changzhou) Automotive Products Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the world famous Bridgestone Tire Co., Ltd., decided to cooperate with Shenzhen Eastnet Co., Ltd. in implementing Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) system. Eastnet will be providing a series of consultation services to Bridgestone (Changzhou), including trainings on high-speed APS system Asprova and long-term system maintenance. Not only this marks the start of a high-level collaboration on the APS field by Eastnet and Bridgestone (Changzhou), this also affirms Eastnet's further indulgement in the APS industry.

Bridgestone Tire Co., Ltd., one of the world's top 500 companies, invested US$ 15,000,000 and set up Bridgestone (Changzhou) Automotive Products Co., Ltd. as an exclusive investment company at Xinbei district, Changzhou, China, mainly to produce and supply shock-absorber parts to car manufacturers such as Toyota at Tianjin and Nissan at Guangzhou, among other famous car makers.

Regarding various management improvements high-speed APS system Asprova brings, Bridgestone (Changzhou)'s Vice President Yoichi Ohira says, "Our business is developing fast. The number of new products is ever-increasing. By replacing our current manual scheduling procedures with Asprova's high-speed scheduling system, we expect our customer satisfaction level to greatly improve as a result of better precision and response time in handling orders and last-minute changes. We believe that this will maximize our company's profit level."

Bridgestone (Changzhou) chose Asprova and Eastnet because it believes in them. Eastnet works hard to provide the most advanced and effective APS consultation services to China's manufacturing industry, and to share success experiences on APS ideology and implementations with customers as they improve their competitiveness.

About Asprova:
