Red Scream Films LLC and Buffalo Nickel Productions Team Up to Provide Affordable Production Services

Buffalo-based film production companies Red Scream Films LLC and Buffalo Nickel Productions have teamed up to provide production services to producers and other filmmakers of DV feature films.

Buffalo, NY (PRWEB) September 13, 2006 -- Red Scream Films LLC and Buffalo Nickel Productions have teamed up to provide production services to producers and other filmmakers looking to produce DV feature films.

"Combined, we possess over 200 years of filmmaking experience in all film and video formats," said David R. Williams, CEO of Red Scream Films LLC, "We own close to $300K of filmmaking equipment, have four produced features under our belts and around 15 screenplays in varying stages of development. We can provide the budget minded producer complete production services, everything from casting and catering, to shooting and editing, to online marketing and web design. For less than a 10th of the average low-budget film production cost we can make a film that looks as if it cost 10 times as much."

Red Scream Films LLC was launched in 2005 and specializes in the production of genre films targeted at the domestic and international home entertainment markets. Their feature films include Prison of the Psychotic Damned starring Melantha Blackthorne and FrightWorld. Red Scream Films LLC currently has three films in development for 2007.

Buffalo Nickel Productions is owned by Emil Novak whose bio-pic Tesla the Accumulator is in post production. Emil also owns the Queen City Book Store which has been in business for more than 20 years and is a fixture of the Buffalo, New York media scene.

"Buffalo is a great place to make movies," said Williams, "We have such a wide diversity of locations to choose from - urban, suburban and rural, all within an hour's drive. And with the Canadian exchange rate not as generous as it use to be, producers can get a cast and crew just as talented for less than Toronto or Vancouver, and without any of the hassle of customs."
