Following the two day networking event the second evening was dedicated to celebrating the positive aspects of the global directory assistance awards. The black tie gala dinner hosted by one of the UK's funniest men Terry Alderton was a roaring success. Guests were treated to a champagne reception and exquisite four course dinner. The organisers explained the ethos of the event; "the two day conference gives the delegates an opportunity to network and meet their colleagues and competitors from around the globe, the awards gala dinner is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements made by the organisations and people involved in the directory services industry. About the judging process:
The panel of Judges are leading experts from the directory assistance market. During the fair, secure and trusted process the judges are asked to rate the top three companies in each category 1st, 2nd and 3rd the votes are independently counted and the results are revealed. This open and independent approach towards the judging process means that all entrants can trust their entry will be fairly appraised against their competitors. Please note that judges that have entries in an award category will not judge that category.
