I look forward to never seeing Evan as a patient.

Windsor, ON (PRWEB) September 11, 2006 -- FBCx, the all natural dietary fiber that has demonstrated great promise for weight management in adults, is pleased to offer hope to overweight teens. At age 13 Evan's BMI was 26.4 kg/m2 which placed him in the 96th percentile of the Center for Disease Control’s BMI-for-age charts. After taking FBCx for just three months, his BMI fell to 23.4 or the 91st percentile. Today at age 15, his BMI is a healthy 21.9 at the 74th percentile.

By dramatically reducing his weight from 135 to 120 pounds in just three months with FBCx and then managing his weight gain as he grew taller, Evan has reduced his risk of becoming an overweight adult and developing type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and some cancers.

FBCx has been available for more than a year to the diabetic patients of the Grunberger Diabetes Institute, Bloomfield Hills, MI, www.gdi-pc.com. The Institute’s founder and Chairman, Dr. George Grunberger commented that, “I look forward to never seeing Evan as a patient.” ArtJen President, Dr. Catherine Jen said, “We do not recommend FBCx for use by adolescents without the supervision of a physician.”

Obesity has reached epidemic proportions worldwide. Two-thirds of the adult population of the USA is either overweight or obese. An estimated 17% of the children and adolescents of the USA were overweight in 2004, an increase of 55% from the early 1990s. All natural FBCx is proving to be an effective weapon in the war on obesity.

Following years of research two university professors, Drs. Catherine Jen and Joseph Artiss, have developed what has been described as a “powerful weapon in the war on obesity”.

“We are very pleased that the efficacy and safety of FBCx have been recognized by medically supervised weight loss programs, however, we do not recommend that adolescents take FBCx without the supervision of a physician.” said Dr. Artiss. He added that, “Although there are no stimulants or harmful ingredients in FBCx, we are concerned about the potential for misuse by young people leading to inappropriate weight loss.”

About Us:
ArtJen Complexus Holdings Corp. is the sole manufacturer of FBCx tablets, an all natural, soluble, dietary fiber. FBCx has the very unique ability to bind nine times its own weight in dietary fat. Taken as directed, two tablets of FBCx per fat-containing meal are capable of removing about 25-30% of the calories from a normal North American diet. This facilitates a decrease in body weight of about 1-1½ pounds per week.
