Argosy University to Hold Open House Sept. 21
Argosy University will host an Open House Thursday, Sept. 21 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The campus at 636 E. Brier Dr., Suite 235, San Bernardino, opened earlier this year and begins new fall terms with evening information meetings on Oct. 3 and Nov. 15. It is a private institution of higher education, dedicated to providing professional educational programs.
San Bernardino, CA (PRWEB) September 15, 2006 -- Argosy University will host an Open House Thursday, Sept. 21 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The campus at 636 E. Brier Dr., Suite 235, San Bernardino, opened earlier this year and begins new fall terms with evening information meetings on Oct. 3 and Nov. 15. It is a private institution of higher education, dedicated to providing professional educational programs.
The Open House will give new and prospective students, as well as the general public an opportunity to see what Argosy University has to offer.
“Argosy University is more than just textbooks and note-taking,” said Inland Empire Campus Director Darren Adamson. “The classes are taught by professionals who are leaders in their fields and they bring our students practical real-world knowledge.”
Argosy University provides programs at the doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s degree levels in business, education and psychology.
In the College of Professional Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, courses are taught by doctoral-level, practicing counselors and psychologists. Faculty in the College of Business and Information Technology are practicing professionals and business leaders. The College of Education and Human Development faculty are experienced educators dedicated to helping their students further develop their skills and reach their goals.
In San Bernardino, Argosy University shares a computer lab and library office space with a neighbor, the Art Institute of California-Inland Empire.
Although Argosy University began offering courses earlier in the year, the Open House is part of an official Grand Opening ceremony for the university. A private reception for elected officials and community leaders along with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place in the morning before the Open House.
Argosy University/Inland Empire is an approved degree site of Argosy University, a system of 14 campuses and four approved degree sites across the country. It has been granted approval to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education.
Argosy University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association.
