16-year-old Illustrator of Children's Book, "Doors," Creates "Child Protector" Superheroes on Child Advocate Website

New child advocate website: www.safechildcustodysupportgroup.org advocates for the prevention of cruelty to children and utilizes artwork by 16-year-old illustrator of "Doors," children's book. Safe Child Custody Support Group was formed by former co-workers to address issues of child abuse in custody cases and states charitable goals to help enrich the lives of abused children and their families.

(PRWEB) September 18, 2006 -- Safe Child Custody Support Group is a non-profit child advocate organization formed in 2006. The Group was organized under the premise that a child's right to be safe and loved is paramount. The Safe Child Custody Fund was formed in 2004 so that concerned citizens may have a voice in the electoral process. The support group and fund organizations pledge their efforts towards these core values and goals.

Safe Child Custody Support Group will work towards its charitable missions: scholarship programs, "Project Farm" (an innovative and instrumental project to aid displaced children, children waiting to be adopted, and children in foster care); "Culture 2 Culture" is another of the Group's initiatives.

The Safe Child Custody Fund will participate in civic actions to promote awareness and accountability of officials involved in custody deliberation, participate in the electoral process of appointees responsible for the safety of children, and support safety measures related to children. The Support Group will include initiatives to help families living with abuse by supporting initiatives that work. Another of the Group's initiatives is "Ask The Therapist," a place where concerned parents can email a question to online therapist, Marjorie Reagan, MSW, LCSW, and "Custody Forum"-visitors to the website can receive support from others involved in custody and communicate via blog-style messages.

"The Child Protectors" characters were created by 16-year-old, Ancel Archer, illustrator of children's book, "Doors" and "Children of Ocha." The characters are located on the Safe Child Custody Support Group's website, www.safechildcustodysupportgroup.org. The story line of the protectors begins in the make-believe land of Serenity. The fictional superheroes' goals include precautionary methods for parents and children, to create a world where children are protected and are regarded with the utmost value in their communities.

Safe Child Custody Support Group was formed by Georgia Terri Archer, Tom Borowski, Moises Aponte, and Jummy Akintomide. The Support Group will participate in programs to help families and victims of child abuse with active participation in innovative, educational, and enlightenment initiatives.
