Key Biscayne, FL (PRWEB) September 22, 2006 -- The Oestara Seminary of Magick (www.seminaryofmagick.com), an on-line Pagan seminary of mystery and magick for adults 18 and older, will open its virtual doors on October 31st at midnight EST. Pre-opening registration of $20.00 (USD) starts on Mabon, the fall equinox $20.00 (USD).

The mystery taught at the Seminary is of self-realization and spiritual improvement. The magick is the practices, the Workings, that enable you to achieve the mystery. Magickal practices include three types of Workings: those of Seership, Communion, Need, and Beauty. Workings of Seership allow you to sense past-lives, the future, and current events through psychic ability.

Workings of Communion involve developing a relationship with Pagan deities, with the Fair Folk, with the genius of the land, with animals, with plant devas, and with your own guardians. Workings of Need allow you to develop your ability to heal (emotionally and physically), to bring to yourself and your loved one’s deserved prosperity, and to bring to you the fulfillment of worthy desires. Workings of Beauty have to do with developing your intellectual skills, your knowledge, appreciation, and co-creation of the beauty of our living planet and all other living beings either directly as in tending plants or indirectly in creating arts and crafts.

Every aspect of The Oestara Seminary of Magick is firmly rooted in Paganism, and Pagan mystery and magick; therefore the titles of our Certificates and even of our teachers reflect this orientation. Instructors at The Oestara Seminary of Magick are called Divines because they are priests or priestesses or similarly honorarily titled, well trained holy folk of their Pagan Trads. All divines have college degrees.

The Oestara Seminary of Magick works this way:

Your six month semester registration fee gains you entrance to all the Seminary’s Cunning courses which you may take as many times as you like. Cunning courses have eight lessons each with two on-line 25 question True and False/Multiple Choice tests for you to test your knowledge. A Cunning course may require one text, the price of which is separate from the registration fee. The Cunning course might also recommend other readings, either internet sites or one other book. All Cunning Courses recommend at least one magical working of some type.

The Oestara Seminary of Magick will open at Midnight (EST) on October 31st, 2006 with more than 13 Cunning courses. Some of these are: Basics of Magickal Theory; Sex Magick Principles, Channeling, Dream Work, Pagan Parenting: IQ and Learning, and How to Write Pagan Book Reviews.

For students who want to work more deeply on the courses with the aid of a Seminary Divine, the Oestara Seminary of Magick enables students to receive personal evaluations from Divines on papers students write for the courses. Passing three Cunning courses that are all in the same subject area with scores of 80% or higher on your on-line tests, gives you the option of studying for a Certificate of Cunning Craft or a Certificate of Witchery. For a Certificate of Cunning Craft, you write a 500 word summary of three same-subject area Cunning courses. Your essay will be read, commented on, and graded by a Seminary Divine for an evaluation fee of $9.00. For a Certificate of Witchery, you write a 5,000 word essay on the topic of three same-subject area Cunning courses. Your 5,000 word essay which will be read, commented on, and graded by a Seminary Divine for an evaluation fee of $35.00. For this level you must have also read the recommended readings of the courses and done the magical workings recommended by the course.

Whether you are curious about Paganism or magick and wish to take some sample courses; whether you are a Solitary who wants to do some intensive study with the help form a Seminary Divine; or whether you are part of a coven or grove and wish to augment your magickal learning, the Oestara Seminary of Magick can provide you with a worthwhile magickal studies. Take advantage of the pre-opening registration fee of $20.00. Once the Oestara Seminary of Magick is open for course work on October 31st, the registration fee will be $30.00.
