RPM Group’s Chooses Dealership University to Help “Fuel” Their Online Educational Content for the powersports Industry

Retail Powersports Management Group (Formerly Lemco Management Group), the nation's largest motorcycle training group announces a strategic partnership with Dealership University.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) September 26, 2006 -- Retail Powersports Management Group (Formerly Lemco Management Group), the nation's largest motorcycle training group announces a strategic partnership with Dealership University.

Powersports dealers will now have the option of benefiting their businesses even further by obtaining certified, trained and pre-qualified employees to work in all aspects of the front and back ends of the powersports industry. According to the president and CEO of Retail Powersports Management Group, Sam Dantzler, RPM Group’s 26 years of powersports training experience will now fuel online training for new employees to benefit their members.

"We needed a blended training format that includes both online training and hands on “live” training. We chose Dealership University to help us with our need for online training because of their tremendous experience, infrastructure, support and technical knowledge. We will now be able to redirect some of our training online and at the same time provide a cultivation and placement arena for new employees to the powersports industry. It fits perfectly with our comprehensive dealership training business model." said Dantzler.

The partnership with Dealership University will make it easy for anyone to sign up online and will screen and test those best suited for positions like sales associates, service writers, parts managers and all front and back end support personnel. “The Powersports Industry has a strong cultivation system for Motorcycle Technicians but we really haven’t been growing people to work in the front half of the dealership. The synergy between Dealership University and RPM Group will give the dealer network a very powerful tool to facilitate a quality training program for their existing team as well as potential new hires. Additionally we will now have the ability to directly quantify the results of our training with RPM Group’s strong financial reporting.” Said Rod Stuckey, President of Dealership University

RPM Group will cultivate employees by first directing them to Dealership University’s website for an initial screening, and then after the proper area of work is determined, potential employees will be assigned customized online training modules. RPM Group's expert educational experience and then the potential employee will go through live regional “hands on” training. Lastly, they are tested and screened to make certain they are ready for work in this exciting and competitive industry.

All online courses are easy to follow and have dynamic graphics, audio narration, bullet point text, self check questions, and testing at the end. Courses are 20 to 30 minutes in length and will be available for the sales department, finance and insurance department, parts and accessories, service, and even product knowledge courses.

“The advantages are huge for both the dealership and the employee. New employees are trained, ready for work and have more potential for success in their careers. Dealerships will find the cost of hiring and training minimized as well as getting the most talented staff to work for them” continued Dantzler.
