DigitalPulp Publishing and the DPPstore join in the second month-long World eBook Fair celebration taking place through all of October, 2006.

The World eBook Fair (http://worldebookfair.com/) is brought to you by the oldest and largest free eBook source on the Internet, Project Gutenberg, with the assistance of the World eBook Library, the providers of the largest collection, and a number of other eBook efforts around the world.
The second month-long celebration this year marks the 35th anniversary of the first steps taken toward eBooks – when the United States’ Declaration of Independence was placed online as the first file available for downloading by Michael Hart, founder of Project Gutenberg.
Through the month of October everyone is invited to download an estimated 1/2 of a million eBooks – for FREE! This is a collection of over a dozen times the number of books the average public library contains in even the richest countries.
In addition to requests for more contemporary eBooks, efforts in this year’s Second World eBook Fair have been made to insure users won’t have the delays caused by such long virtual lines as they had in July.
