Submitting transcripts for college and scholarship applications is a tedious process for college-bound students and high school staff. A new partnership between myFootpath, the makers Prep HeadQuarters, and Docufide will enable transcripts and admission documents to be sent electronically, saving time, money, and aggravation.

myFootpath, the makers Prep HeadQuarters, announced a partnership today with Docufide to improve the delivery of electronic transcripts and admission documents for college-bound students.

Prep HeadQuarters is a set of web-based tools that help high school counselors better communicate, track, report, and manage college applications and the planning process. Students and parents also have access to Prep HeadQuarters to communicate with the school, keep checklists and information on different college prep topics, and track/manage all the paperwork that's required to apply to and pay for college. Through an innovative corporate sponsorship program, high schools can use Prep HeadQuarters at no charge.

A key component of the college planning process is getting a student's high school transcript to the college or scholarship program of interest. Docufide is the industry leader in the electronic delivery of these transcripts through their Secure Transcript product. With this partnership, Secure Transcript will be integrated into Prep HeadQuarters, making the transcript process much easier and simpler for high school students, parents and counselors.

"Docufide has an outstanding electronic transcript product that is known for its simplicity and ease of use, so it's a great match for our user-friendly program. We want to be involved with companies that are dedicated to making things easy for customers, and are excited to partner with Docufide to bring the electronic transcript function to Prep HeadQuarters users," said J.T. Allen, President of myFootpath.

Students request an average of 6 transcripts at an estimated cost of $6.70 a transcript (NCES/DOE study). Docufide's service saves schools $40+ per college bound student. In addition to materials and staff savings, the Docufide and Prep HeadQuarters combined solution will track all requests and transcript delivery, easing a costly and time-intensive burden for high school staff.

"Students use their Prep HeadQuarters accounts as early as Grade 9. We want high schools and their students to 'grow up' with Docufide as the preferred method for sending transcripts and related academic documents not only for college admissions but also for transfers and a growing number of other applications. Prep HeadQuarters provides a great way for us to reach this audience early and often. We are thrilled to be working with myFootpath, as we continue to build world-class solutions," said John Reese, CEO of Docufide.
