After the public industrial workshops where met with much success at their St. Louis, MO and Atlanta, GA locations, Business Industrial Network announced it will add the Hands-on Practical Process Control © workshops to it's growing list of customized on-site training services.

Business Industrial Network and Control Station agreed to expand their current Hands-on Practical Process Control © Workshop offering to include an on-site workshop customized to the end-user's needs. These process control training services apply a hands-on approach to training maintenance technicians and engineers on proven techniques for analyzing and optimizing process control systems. This process control training has immediate application value for the industry, enabling them to reduce energy consumption, increase production throughput, and maintain higher levels of quality control.

"Training workers to accurately diagnose underperforming control systems and to consistently implement corrective actions are the objectives of our training." commented Dennis Nash, Control Station President.

On-Site Workshops will focus on the real-world application of proven techniques for improving the performance of PID controllers and for optimizing overall plant performance. Practical Process Control© was originally developed to support the training needs of academics before being introduced to industry in the early 90s. Today, the Practical Process Control © curriculum is applied in training the next generation of process control professionals at over 100 colleges and universities worldwide. Leading companies such as Chevron, Holcim, Honeywell, and Lafarge also look to Control Station for enhancing the skills of production support staff through training.

"We only select curriculum and instructors based on strict real-world content and actual hands-on training criteria. For quality industrial training, each attendee must demonstrate the ability to perform required tasks for our instructors. We don't just 'present' the information." commented Don Fitchett, Business Industrial Network President.

Scheduled throughout 2007, workshops will be hosted at the Microsoft Building next to Business Industrial Network's headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri and at their Stone Mountain training location in Atlanta, Georgia.
