"Wireless Restaurant Guests On-Demand" Opt-In Lead Capture System Introduced by Wi-Fi Internet Providers 82nd Street Wireless

Restaurants now have the ability to drive wireless guest loyalty "on-demand" thanks to 82nd Street Wireless's innovative blend of Wi-Fi subscriber management and opt-in lead capture systems including Email and/or RSS.

(PRWEB) January 10, 2007 -- Restaurants now have the ability to drive wireless guest loyalty "on-demand" thanks to 82nd Street Wireless's innovative blend of Wi-Fi subscriber management and opt-in lead capture systems including Email and/or RSS.

The system works like this:

(a) A wireless guest opens up their web browser at any 82nd Street Wireless powered hotspot and is presented with the Wi-Fi login page, which allows the restaurant to sell or give away time-limited access to their Wi-Fi network.

(b) The wireless guest is presented with the option of subscribing to the restaurant's in-house newsletter, which offers news and special offers exclusively for wireless guests. Restaurants can use whichever opt-in email / RSS service they prefer. 82nd Street Wireless merely hosts the appropriate opt-in links on the Wi-Fi login page.

"We're applying online lead capture systems to the traditionally offline hospitality business," says Wade McMunn of 82nd Street Wireless, "which allows wireless restaurant guests to get instant notification as to their preferred hotspot's news and special offers as it relates to their particular interests… which is to generally visit during the slower, off-peak hours in between the big rushes when it is much easier to concentrate."

He adds, "It's been a long-standing dilemma in the restaurant industry as to how to fill those empty tables in between the lunch and dinner rush, which like vacant real-estate, have expenses but virtually no income. Having the ability to drive wireless guest loyalty on-demand during those slower, off-peak periods is a golden thing."

Restaurants don't need to have any technical experience as there are many popular online services which allow them to send broadcast email and/or RSS at little if any costs and with little if any design experience. It's just like sending email at home, except you might be broadcasting to thousands of subscribers simultaneously instead of there being just one recipient.

"There are countless sources of information online as to how to write offers that result in response. Whether you're talking about online copywriting or email copywriting, writing an offer works pretty much the same way. I'm always happy to recommend a few good resources for those wanting to craft the ability to write really strong offers," says Wade McMunn.
