Fitness Together Muscles up Global Franchise Strengthens Placement in Top Franchises Rankings
Fitness Together, the world's largest personal training organization, has moved up in Entrepreneur magazine's three Top Franchises rankings. The announcement was made by company CEO Rick Sikorski.
Fitness Together moved up in the "Franchise 500" ranking. The company weighs in at #77 for 2007, compared to #118 in 2006. In the "Top Global Franchises" category for 2007, Fitness Together was ranked #72. In 2006, it ranked #96. Lastly, the international fitness franchise was ranked #41 in the "Fastest Growing Franchises" category. Last year, it placed at #52.
Highlands Ranch, CO (PRWEB) January 4, 2007 -- Fitness Together, the world's largest personal training organization, has moved up in Entrepreneur magazine's three Top Franchises rankings. The announcement was made by company CEO Rick Sikorski.

Fitness together opened 90 studios in 2006, and more than 470 studios have been sold. Worldwide, there are 302 studios open. By the end of this year, Sikorski expects to sell 150 additional studios and open 120. In 2008, he expects to have sold 850 studios since the company's inception.
"When the company was established in 1983, I envisioned international growth. We continue to move up in the rankings year over year and are now expanding operations to include Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Eastern Europe and Western Europe," Sikorski said. "This is a very exciting time for us and for the wellness industry overall."
Fitness Together has franchises in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington, D.C., Wisconsin and Wyoming. A studio is currently under development in Costa Rica.
