Pragmatic Marketing Names Phil Myers President

Following a record year in 2006, company moves to extend leadership position with its market-driven framework for technology companies.

Pragmatic Marketing®, the standard for technology product management and marketing, has named Phil Myers as its new president. In this position, Phil will lead the launch of two new business units designed to extend Pragmatic Marketing's lead in providing technology companies with the market-driven training and services they need to compete in the 21st century.

With over 25 years of software industry experience, Phil recently served as president and CEO of Cyclone Commerce. In 2006, Cyclone was merged with Axway, an EMEA-based software and services company, to create a $140 million market leader in the collaborative business solution space. His track record includes leading two successful initial public offerings and launching 13 products that became market leaders in their category.

Phil is widely regarded in the industry for his strategic marketing expertise and ability to develop high-quality management teams across Development, Sales and Marketing organizations. He frequently speaks at conferences and symposiums and serves as a board member for several software companies and a variety of Arizona Growth initiatives. Phil has a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S. in Management Science from Pennsylvania State University.
