Cathy's attitude and aptitude are perfectly suited for today's challenging environment and we plan to support her with additional capital for executives and resources together with the fine and talented executives who currently run Mandalay," said Guber.

"It is a true pleasure to join Mandalay and play the lead role in creating a future profile for Mandalay Pictures. It's our shared vision to produce both large scale and independent pictures that will be self-distinguishing in today's busy and competitive landscape. I am deeply committed to discovering and supporting filmmakers of vision while making Mandalay a continued home for film talent looking to make a difference in the world-wide motion picture landscape," says Schulman.
