(PRWEB) January 6, 2007 -- SecureTRANSIT Inc. has signed a partnership agreement to supply ARINC with APIScontrol and APISadvisor to integrate into ARINC Direct's Business Aviation Solution. ARINC Direct will use SecureTRANSIT's APIS (Advance Passenger Information System) software to provide an APIS solution to their customers, which already includes a variety of flight support services including flight planning, flight following, weather services and aircraft messaging. The partnership was formalized in late 2006 and the integration is to be completed in early 2007.

"This really confirms what we already knew," says SecureTRANSIT's Director of Marketing Peter Lawrence, "that we have the best APIS management solution on the market."

SecureTRANIST's APIScontrol not only provides the ability to submit compliant APIS data, but also makes the process easier and faster to the end user. APIScontrol includes the ability to store crew (MCL) and passenger (PNL) manifests in an effort to reduce data input. In addition, its users can pre-validate all information entered into the system, scan it against CBP's NO-FLY list, automate SELECTEE's and monitor Acknowledgement receipts. It also provides a complete audit trail of all APIS activity surrounding a particular flight for all users who were using the system.

"We offer a level of compliancy to small and medium sized airlines that couldn't afford it until now," say Lawrence. "With fines for non-compliancy ranging from a minimum of $5,000 to as much as $70,000, APIS compliancy is no joke for the CBP (Customs and Border Protection)."

SecureTRANSIT has been developing their system for five years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001. They developed the system in response to the government's implementation of mandatory APIS requirement for all flights entering or leaving the United States, Canada and Mexico to submit full APIS reports in UN/EDFACT format. SecureTRANSIT also offers a suite of hosted airline software products including CrewOpscontrol - automated crew planning, and SysOpscontrol -- A reservation and flight following system for any size airline.
