San Diego Business Magazine Announces Call for Submissions to Fast Growth Awards

Ten businesses to be recognized at awards banquet and featured in May issue of bizSanDiego.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 4, 2007 -- bizSanDiego, a brand comprised of emerging tools and resources designed to foster meaningful conversations among members of the San Diego business community, issued a call-for-entries for its first Fast Growth Awards. Established to highlight businesses for outstanding growth and resilience in San Diego County’s business environment, the Fast Growth 2007 Awards will be presented on April 22 at an awards banquet where the fastest-growing companies will be revealed.

“bizSanDiego is continually looking for a means to generate awareness about the many business pioneers based in San Diego County and how we can learn about their experiences,” said Jon Hindman, editor of bizSanDiego. “With the Fast Growth 2007 Awards, our goal is to distinguish those businesses that have grown more than revenue, and have really seized on the opportunities available in this ever-expanding market.”

Ten companies will be selected for Fast Growth 2007 Awards based on criteria that include a combination of revenue, employee growth and the company’s unique point of difference within its industry. Entries for the Fast Growth 2007 Awards will be accepted online at www.bizSanDiego.com/FastGrowth through Jan. 19. Winners will be notified via email and honored at an awards banquet hosted by bizSanDiego in April. Winners also will be prominently featured in the May issue of bizSanDiego magazine.

“While the Fast Growth Awards banquet will be a great platform for saluting the most progressive businesses in the community, it also will be great for networking and exploring innovative business practices from which we can learn,” said Brian Sacks, publisher of bizSanDiego. “We are establishing it as yet another forum to stimulate conversation among San Diego County’s influential business leaders.”

Sponsors for this event include CBIZ, one of the nation’s leading providers of business services, and Comerica Inc., a financial service provider strategically aligned by three business segments: The Business Bank, The Retail Bank, and Wealth & Institutional Management. Additional sponsorship packages are available. For more information on sponsorship opportunities and the Fast Growth 2007 Awards, please visit www.bizsandiego.com or call 619/308-0420.
