Bella Green - An Environmental Protection Project by Bella Vita Retreat
Bella Vita Retreat, known for their fitness boot camp retreats, launches Bella Green, an environmental protection program.
Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) January 8, 2007 -- Bella Vita Retreat, an organization responsible for helping people change their lifestyles with their boot camp retreat programs, is adding a new focus to their retreats. As of January 1, 2007, the Bella Green Project has been launched in full force. Aimed at limiting the amount of waste produced by the company, the goal of the Bella Green Project is to ultimately help reduce the amount of landfill overflow and promote environmental awareness. Retreat guests will experience the Bella Green Project in a multitude of ways.
Bella Vita Retreat owner, Margot Rutigliano, decided it was time to not only provide clients with an environment rich in learning about fitness and health, but also one that promotes the health of the environment around us. "It really makes sense for Bella Vita Retreat to be promoting environmental wellness," says Rutigliano. "We take so much time to help people improve their own environments within their bodies. What good does that do if we don't have a beautiful world to live in? The program is definitely a must in my eyes," she adds. The project will offer two programs, the Environmental Water Bottle Project and the Bella Paper Waste Project to help aid in landfill overflow and overuse of paper and plastic products. In addition environmental awareness classes are being held for guests during retreats. The classes educate clients on the Bella Green Project as well as provide environmentally healthy alternatives to some of their day to day use of paper and plastic products.
Bella Vita Retreat's Environmental Water Bottle Project is one of the primary focuses of the program. Environmental water bottles are now being provided to all guests upon arrival. Guests can fill the multiple use, dishwasher safe, non-porous bottles with purified water provided at numerous locations throughout the property. Bottled water will no longer be provided to guests in efforts to reduce the amount of plastic bottle use. The additional program, the Bella Paper Waste Project focuses on the reduction of the use of paper by the company and its clients. All communications will now take place via email with the use of digital forms, brochures and any additional marketing materials. "We're happy to make these changes. The conversion of paper supplies to digital formats has been very easy and smooth," says Margot Rutigliano.
The retreat plans to launch a number of additional environmental projects in the next few years to come. For more information on the Bella Green Project, visit: www.bvretreat.com/bellagreen.html. Contact information: 800-768-5708
