North Carolina Entrepreneur Ryan Allis Lands McGraw-Hill Book Contract to Tell Broadwick Success Story

McGraw-Hill to Publish 22 Year Old CEO Ryan Allis' Book, Zero to One Million: How to Build a Company to $1 Million in Sales.

Broadwick Corp. today announced that its CEO Ryan Allis has signed a publishing contract with McGraw-Hill to bring his book, Zero to One Million: How to Build a Company to $1 Million in Sales, into bookstores. The book, which was originally self-published in 2003, will be fully updated and will tell the story of building Broadwick Corporation from nothing into a multimillion-dollar company. It will launch in the Fall of 2007.

Zero to One Million will tell the story behind how partners Aaron Houghton (25) and Ryan Allis (22) have bootstrapped Broadwick from a fledging start-up in Chapel Hill, NC into a venture-backed leading North Carolina technology company with over 8000 customers, 40 employees and $4 million in annual sales. The book will also provide a ten step process for building a company to $1 million in annual sales as well as interviews with the region's most successful entrepreneurs including Motricity's Jud Bowman, NC IDEA's Dave Rizzo, and Inspire Pharmaceutical's Christy Shafer.
