Most websites push a particular point of view, have specific target audiences, have a narrow focus, or are too racy for general consumption, but is a place "for the rest of us": it's a place where people from all countries and of all ages and all backgrounds can share the frustrations, realizations and aspirations that make us all human.

In addition to the daily ePIFfunnews and ePIFfunnies from Mr. ePIFfunny, ePIFfunnies contributed by "ePIFfunnados," and the "ePIFfunny of the Week," also features "ePIFfunnus Recs," a regularly updated list of things to entertain people, make their lives better, and help them make the world a better place. Plus, a weekly "Vitamin ePIFfunny" ("guaranteed to boost your energy level and cause occasional desires to do good deeds!") of inspirational thoughts is sent every week to everyone on the site's mailing list.

Among the topics discussed on the site are: animals and pets, art and creativity, baby boomers, children, teenagers, inspiration, family, values, fun reading, anecdotes, jokes, news, government, politics, happiness, understanding, growing old, success, life, insights, personal stories, words of wisdom, guidance, suburbs, love, relationships, the meaning of life, modern, technology, philosophy, rants, raves, marriage, religion, and spirituality.

The website's motto is, "We will all become wiser if we share our wisdom with each other," and "Mr. ePIFfunny" (the "nom de web" of Southern California writer Richard Showstack) hopes that it will become a place of "sharing, wisdom and humor."
