Libertarian Party to Comment on State-of-the-State Address

Libertarian Party plans to make comments available within hours of the governor's speech.

Panorama City, CA (PRWEB) January 9, 2007 -- Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is scheduled to give his annual state-of-the-state address on Tuesday the 9th of January starting at 5PM PST. The Libertarian Party of California (LPC) plans to comment on his speech within hours of its completion.

Says Aaron Starr, the chairman of the LPC, "We expect some of the governor's proposals will move the state in a direction towards fiscal responsibility and social tolerance, and to the extent they do, we will support them. Other proposals put forward may be contrary to limited government and personal liberty, and we will not shy away from rebutting these bad proposals, and opposing them in any way we can."

In order to facilitate the fastest distribution of the planned Libertarian Party press release, it will be posted on the party's official website as soon as completed, as well as being distributed via other channels. Please watch www.ca.lp.org in the hours immediately following the governor's address for the Libertarian Party of California comments to Arnold Schwarzenegger's state-of-the-state address.

About the Libertarian Party of California
