Michelle Murphy, President and founder of Murphy Assistants has been appointed to the office of Vice President of Marketing by the Delaware Valley Virtual Assistants Associations (DVVAA) Board of Directors.

Delaware Valley Virtual Assistants Association (DVVAA) Board of Directors appoints Michelle Murphy, President/Founder of Murphy Assistants, as Vice President of Marketing. Murphy Assistants is a Virtual Assistant practice in the Philadelphia area.

Michelle opened Murphy Assistants in May 2004. After working as an Executive Assistant for over 16 years in a corporate setting, Michelle was approached by her first client while working a full time job. Realizing that this may be something she could do on a full time basis, she researched the VA concept and discovered the term "Virtual Assistant", having no idea that there was an entire industry of administrative professionals working virtually. In preparing to launch Murphy Assistants, Michelle joined a few organizations, knowing how important it was to network with colleagues on a regular basis. One such organization was the DVVAA.

The Delaware Valley Virtual Assistants Association (DVVAA) is a local organization of Virtual Assistants (VAs) offering membership to all VAs in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Their members offer clients a wide variety of high-quality business support services, such as: Administrative & Office Management, Transcription & Typing, Real Estate Support Services, Website Design & Maintenance, and Marketing Assistance.
