Lefty's Clothing to Launch Collection with Robbie Conal, Emek, and other Famed Artists

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 15, 2007 -- Clothing line The Original Lefty's announces a new collection of their politically-themed garments featuring the work of political art legends Robbie Conal, Emek and Mark of the Beast.

The Lefty's "Collab Series" consists of 6 contributing artist of notable influence. Robbie Conal, who has achieved an iconic reputation in the political art community, will debut a series of pieces to be featured exclusively in the new collection. Also joining the effort with two original pieces is Emek, who is known as the "The Thinking Man's Poster Artist."

The "Collab Series," which is set for debut at the Agenda Tradeshow in San Diego California from January 25-28, is the fifth collection from Lefty's over the last three years. Lefty's gained attention at their inception by fusing rock and roll, punk rock art with a hard (leftist) political message behind it; their most notable design is a picture of President Bush with the KISS makeup on. The company then showcased at more than 100 stores throughout the United States. From Revolver Magazine, URB, the Village Voice and BusinessWeek, Lefty's clothing has also been featured in hundreds of publications worldwide.

This "Collab Series" is the first major announcement released from The Original Lefty's since their partnership with The Marketing Division in October, 2006. The Marketing Divison, the brainchild of Eddie Donaldson and Evan Cerasoli, has worked with a bevy of influential artists and industry leaders over the last decade. Their union with Lefty's is their first exclusive partnership with a clothing line since their inception.
