NBX.com Kicks Off First Ever NFL World Sports Betting Championship Tournament with $10,000 Grand Prize

Saratoga, CA (PRWEB) January 12, 2007 -- NBX Inc., an online sports entertainment company, will kickoff the first ever NFL World Sports Betting Championship Tournament when the divisional playoffs begin this Saturday, it was announced today. The tournament will pit more than 300 fantasy sports bettors in a head-to-head competition for the $10,000 grand prize and Wiseguy Trophy.

The WSBC™ Tournament is a free to play, fantasy sports betting tournament, where participants must qualify by finishing in the top 20 in the weekly fantasy points standings at NBX.com. The tournament will be played during three rounds of the NFL postseason - divisional round, conference championship games and the Super Bowl. The original field will be trimmed to 100 players for round two and 20 for the final round. The player with the most points at the conclusion of the Super Bowl will be crowned World Sports Betting Champion.

Jeff Corrigan, of San Diego, claimed the first ever NBX World Sports Betting Championship and $10,000 grand prize, by winning the Major League Baseball WSBC in October.
