PriSim Business War Games, a premier business training firm, announced the launch of a multi-language version of Redline™, its popular dealership-management simulation. PriSim conducts international Redline™ training seminars for Harley-Davidson University in several European countries, South America, and Australia in addition to U.S. and Canadian courses.

"We're excited to be delivering our courses in languages other than just English," says Jeff Lefebvre, PriSim's founder. "Our goal is to allow our clients, who are mostly Fortune 500 companies, to increase their business-training offerings far beyond U.S. shores. The business world is more and more global and you need to have this capability in training your key people. A business simulation competition in the local language is extremely effective."

Both the business simulation software and the lecture components of Redline™ have been translated into Spanish, German, French, Dutch, Portuguese, and Italian. The course has been delivered to live audiences across Europe. During the course, attendees form teams and manage a motorcycle dealership, competing for market share, employees, and profit. Redline™ addresses all of the challenges of dealership management: strategic planning, financial and operational analysis, marketing, leadership and teamwork, and cross-departmental decision-making.

PriSim's latest effort creates additional course-delivery options for managers who do not primarily use English in their business management roles. This effort has also expanded PriSim's already strong international delivery capabilities. In addition to Redline™, PriSim currently delivers several of its courses, including Insurance Challenge™ and Mini-MBA™, to audiences in Asia and Europe.

According to Stuart Farrell, Director of H-D's International Direct Markets in Oxford, England, "The International Direct Markets conducted its first Redline™ training for its key dealers and distributors from all around Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The (PriSim) trainer was a brilliant communicator, a knowledgeable and credible expert, and he made everybody enjoy three days of intensive training. From the sidelines I saw the working groups develop as a team, I saw differences turn into mutual understanding, and I saw the competencies of our dealer network grow. I firmly believe that the delegates are all far better positioned to plan the future of their businesses now that they understand them better."

Jorg Schmidt, Training Manager, Europe for Harley-Davidson adds, "The Redline business simulation game made a real difference in delivering our annual strategic dealer operations training to our dealer network in Europe.

"The French, Dutch, German, Swiss, Austrian, Spanish, United Kingdom, and International Direct subsidiaries made good use of the interactive and fun format provided by PriSim. We are getting very positive feedback from all dealer principals who have attended. An outstanding opportunity to share best practices and departmental expert knowledge in a fun and engaging way.

"Following up on the momentum and positive energy of these sessions, we have decided to make Redline™ the kickoff session for rolling out our business planning approach in all European markets. Our dealers are very positive and cannot wait to implement their insights and learnings from the simulation into their business reality.

"In this way, our annual DOT training is connected for the first time with a guided transfer and measurable results."

"While English tends to be the primary language of business even in non-U.S. locations, getting closer to the learner's first language is a valuable capability. Now, language is not such a tremendous barrier to expanding a talent-management initiative," explains David Semb, a Partner at PriSim.

PriSim Business War Games' business simulations and courses provide managers across all industries with a practice-ground where new ideas can be tested and where strategies can be practiced in a what-if environment. With the multi-language version of Redline™, PriSim has further expanded its course-delivery reach as it continues to produce unique, computer-simulation based business training solutions to leading organizations worldwide.
