Blue Networks, Inc. announced general availability of its channel-based Voice Over IP Origination Service.

"Channels are shared across all phone numbers on the customer's account," said Jed Stafford, President of Blue Networks, Inc. Each channel costs $5.95 per month, and US phone numbers are $1 per month, plus a $1 one time setup fee. Each channel allows unlimited incoming calls. Customers can have callers hear a busy signal when all channels are in use or opt to switch to a usage-based fee of 1.1 cents per minute. "One channel can accept traffic from Seattle and London on a single account."

"Channel services allow our corporate customers to predict, and thus control costs associated with their origination services," Stafford said. Blue is offering this product in approximately 15,000 rate centers across the United States and the United Kingdom.

Customers can add channels to their account anytime, 24 hours per day.
