This is the second major scientific instrument added to our products which was always part of the master plan for our company

NanoAndMore USA, a distributor of nanotechnology products including atomic force microscope (AFM) probes, today announced that it has been named as the exclusive Master Distributor for the US by NanoSight, the British manufacturer of particle size analyzers.
These nano-particle size analyzers do what PCS and other light scattering methods do but they go one step further. They track every particle and report on the total distribution of particle sizes by count and percentage. PCS is extremely fast but it only "sees" the predominant particle size in a solution. "The NanoSight LM-10 and LM-20 not only report on the predominant particle size but also on any other particles present in the solution." said George McMurtry, president and founder of NanoAndMore. "The instruments use Brownian motion to track the speed and distance each particle moves during a fixed period of time and can then very accurately graph the total distribution of particles from around 15nm to nearly 1µm. This may not replace PCS but it will certainly sit beside it as a second method of analysis."
"This is the second major scientific instrument added to our products which was always part of the master plan for our company", said McMurtry. "It joins Lyncée tec's Digital Holographic Microscope and will be sold by utilizing our network of well established independent sales agents who we have known for several decades and are already selling into the scientific instrument marketplace. We have full coverage across the US."
About: NanoAndMore USA:
NanoAndMore USA (NAM) was founded in 2005 by NanoWorld Holding AG and George McMurtry, formerly a founder and vice president of Quesant Instrument Corporation, one of the oldest AFM manufacturers. The corporation headed by George McMurtry as CEO is situated on Lady's Island, South Carolina.
NAM was the first distributor of AFM probes to sell them in premounted formats for those AFM systems that require them (such as Quesant Instrument and older Park Scientific systems), as well as just the probes themselves giving the end user a second source of necessary premounted tips with the flexibility of a complete range of premounts from the budget conscious BudgetSensors line to the premier NanoWorld™ and NANOSENSORS™ probes.
Besides NANOSENSORS™, NanoWorld™ and BudgetSensors™, NAM USA is also distributing Lyncée tec's Digital Holographic Microscopes, NanoSight's Nano-particle Size Analyzer, Minus-K vibration isolation equipment and the Scanning Probe Image Processor from Image Metrology. NanoAndMore will be adding additional surface analysis products and will gladly discuss distribution of such products with manufacturers; all but AFMs will be considered.
