Beachwood Pictures, Inc. announces the release of its internet TV series "After Midnight: Life Behind Bars", an outrageous comedy ushering us past the velvet rope and behind the scenes of Hollywood's most dysfunctional nightclub. Featuring "Superman Returns" star Brandon Routh, Ali Hillis from "Must Love Dogs" and Cullen Douglas of Bones, ER, and CSI fame, the pilot episode and promotional clips have been released on YouTube. "After Midnight: Life Behind Bars" is an outrageous comedy set in Hollywood's newest "wanna be" hotspot - The Phoenix nightclub. Night after night, general manager Jethro Silverberg and his staff are on an endless mission to stay relevant in the fickle L.A. bar scene.

"We wanted to shine a light on where the action really is in any Hollywood nightclub -- behind the bar," comments Brian Hanson who directed and also co-wrote the series. "People just don't know that, on any given night, the bar staff is often having a crazier, more exciting night than the customers they serve. With all of the hipster egos and show biz agendas that make LA's nightclub scene so notorious, we really wanted to show how crazy it gets on both sides of the bar."
