Small Town Dippy Chick Reveals Startup Success Story in Family Circle Magazine
Gourmet food entrepreneurial-mom turns homemade recipes into national, media sensation.
Kingston, NH (PRWEB) January 16, 2007 -- When Christine Hanisco started her home-based business, The Dippy Chick Company, www.dippychick.com , in 2005, she never guessed that her party-dip concoctions of herbs and spices would garner so much attention. After being featured on ABC's World News with Charles Gibson and StartupNation Radio (a nationally-broadcast radio program for entrepreneurs), Family Circle Magazine chose to spotlight Christine's story in the "February 2007 Gala Issue" to be released in mid-January.
In the upcoming Family Circle Magazine article, Hanisco is pictured with her two young sons doing what she does best - being a mom and running a successful business simultaneously.
Written by "Mompreneurs®" co-author Ellen Parlapiano, the story will:
| | - Guide other stay-at-home moms that may be thinking about working for themselves;
- Provide startup ideas and the steps needed to achieve success;
- Help moms decide if they are right for entrepreneurship;
- Profile women who have been successful in launching their own businesses; and
- Make readers feel as they too can achieve the same success by bringing their own ideas to fruition!

"Reporters found my information on the Web, and it was a surprise to receive all of this national, media attention out of the blue," states Hanisco. "I plan to put all of this publicity to good use by putting more money back into the business. I will be adding new dip mix flavors to the fifteen already in circulation and create some new and exciting products such as slow cooker 'helpers', sauces, marinades and salad dressings."
Hanisco intends to keep her all-natural, gluten-free, sugar-free, and salt-free theme. She also plans to move the business out of her home and open a manufacturing facility and retail store in the near future. "I've been handed some very good fortune lately, and I'm going to work extremely hard to make sure that this is not all in vain," she states. "I plan to keep growing and moving forward. This business will hopefully help us pay for college some day."
The Dippy Chick Company's products can be found at www.dippychick.com and in over 60 stores nationwide.
