San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 17, 2007
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego (RMHC-SD), one of the county's largest nonprofit organizations, unveiled its new website today (http://www.rmhcsd.org), drawing visitors to its captivating flash animated pages and heartfelt photos. The website was completely redesigned by luxury Web design and Internet marketing firm, Appeal Media, headquartered in San Diego.
Larry Donofrio, Executive Director of RMHC, announced, "Appeal Media was the clear choice for a superb website design team who understood our mission to serve the families of seriously ill children. We are delighted that visitors can now feel our organization's goals and understand what Ronald McDonald House truly means to San Diego."
RMHC-SD selected Appeal Media from a large pool of potential designers because of the design firm's history of producing top quality, engaging websites for other prominent nonprofits. Appeal Media established a web presence for both Elder Help of San Diego (http://www.elderhelpofsandiego.org) and the Friends of Scott Foundation (http://www.friendsofscott.org), two San Diego-based nonprofits whose missions are to help families touched by illness, old age or cancer. Both websites have earned international acclaim and awards, including the Webby Award.
"Helping families and organizations in our community has always been important to us," said Appeal Media's Director of Business Development, Tracy Ochoa. "The Ronald McDonald House holds special meaning in our hearts because we knew a family with a very ill child who stayed there. We are so impressed with what the Ronald McDonald house accomplishes that we were more than pleased when they asked us to create their new site."
Appeal Media's Creative Director, Chez Ochoa, adds, "It was our goal to create a site that would stand out and inspire visitors to become involved in some way with the Ronald McDonald House, which I believe we accomplished."
