The Urban Cowgirl (http://www.theurbancowgirl.com) spoke live via tele-seminar last Thursday night to hundreds of eager Internet marketers, small business owners, and entrepreneurs about her lead generation strategies, successes, failures, and everything in between.
The Urban Cowgirl is promising potential clients that in only eight weeks she will show them and (give them) everything in her marketing holster they need to generate their own high-quality leads.
"It's really about a mind-set," says Cherie Yvette, head of The Urban Cowgirl LLC. "That's why I call it the Urban Cowgirl; that's why I call my tele-seminar an 8 Week Stampede--marketing, specifically lead generation, requires a mind-set first and foremost, followed by resources and tools."
According to Yvette, most people trying to market their business, whether online through pay-per-click and email marketing or through direct mail, are missing vital techniques, the first of which is a mind-set. She intends to change all that by promoting conversation over traditional campaigning.
With the great Google disaster in July 2006, many independent marketers have been left picking up the pieces of their business, including Yvette, 35 of Lawrence, Kansas. "People are still recovering, so I really want to give them the strategies I'm learning about for Google 2007--that's what week two of the Stampede is all about."
Yvette and her team will build Google campaigns for their clients and then help direct them into a more targeted audience. Other weeks include Web site design, direct mail campaigns, and newspaper marketing. She has built several in-depth targeted newspaper resources for the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia.
"Really what you're getting is a whole package, an education," says Jay Kubbasek, executive committee member of WMI and former top income earner of LLI. "I haven't seen any other program quite like it; what she's offering is a long-term solution to lead generation."
The idea is that people will take on a marketing mind-set within in the eight weeks and develop not only lead generating skills, but also plug into The Urban Cowgirl's resources with a lifetime membership.
The Urban Cowgirl will host a second preview call January 18th. The deadline to enroll in the Stampede tele-seminar course is Saturday, January 20th.
