Lijit Networks, Inc. Secures Funding, Launches Personal Network Search and Partners with FeedBurner, Inc.

Louisville, CO (PRWEB) January 22, 2007 -- Lijit Networks, Inc. announced today that it has secured over $900K in funding from an investment syndicate including Colorado Fund I, managed by High Country Venture; Brad Feld, Managing Director of Foundry Group; Seth Goldstein, co-founder of AttentionTrust.org, Majestic Research and ROOT Markets; and Paul Berberian, former CEO of Raindance Communications. The syndicate is rounded out by investments from Lijit's management team and other influential, Colorado- and nationally-based angel investors.
This funding comes on the heels of Lijit's Personal Network Search ("PNS") product launch and a partnership with FeedBurner, Inc., the leading provider of online media distribution and audience engagement services. Personal Network Search is the first and only vertical search methodology that uses people, their content and their connections to produce search results with unprecedented relevance. "Personal Network Search allows users to create a search engine that understands who they are, what they write about in their blog, what bookmarks they make, to whom and to which sites they are connected and makes all of that information searchable by their readers," remarked Todd Vernon, chief executive officer of Lijit.
The Lijit Personal Network Search widget (the "Wijit") replaces existing search boxes commonly found on blogs.
