The Dallas Cowboys have commissioned Heartwood Studios, a leading 3D animation and Visual Effects Studio, to create all 3D visualization marketing collateral and a 3D Web Ticketing Engine for the new Cowboys Stadium, scheduled for completion in 2009.

The scope of the project will include: 3D incorporation of aerial footage shot by helicopter, exclusive renderings of luxury box suites and more than 525 separate views of the stadium from various vantage points, including seats, the concourse and suites.

Heartwood Studios has produced a four-minute virtual tour that includes an aerial approach to the stadium, operation of the retractable roof, encirclements of both interior and exterior stadium views, and a fly-in to the sidelines where owner, Jerry Jones speaks to the viewer through the use of green screen filming for the Dallas Cowboys stadium unveiling in December.

“After evaluating proposals from a number of firms, we chose Heartwood Studios for this project because of their innovative and exceptional work in the areas of 3D architectural renderings and animation,” said Jerry Jones, Owner of the Dallas Cowboys. “Heartwood’s outstanding work will go a long way in allowing us to visually demonstrate to Cowboys fans and others around the world both the tradition and innovation we are bringing to our new home.”

“We are thrilled to be working with the Dallas Cowboys on their stadium project,” said Neil Wadhawan, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Heartwood Studios. “While we’ve worked with partners ranging from national real estate developers to the US government, Fortune 500 companies and worldwide Ad Agencies we are very excited to create something of this ‘high profile” value. We will strive to include even the most minute details in the visualization so that Cowboy fans can enjoy a real taste of what they will see in the new stadium,” said Raj Raheja, Co-Founder and Chairman of Heartwood Studios.
