New Novel Chronicles One Man's Struggle to Conquer Deadly Storm and Vicious Demon
Storm-sensing protagonist battles unnatural inner forces in John Graham's gripping Western saga, Gulf of Fury.
Elizabethtown, NC (PRWEB) January 20, 2007 -- Gulf of Fury by John Graham is a thrilling story of monster storms and one very special man, set in the untamed West. Will a man with special powers to sense nature's storms be able to control the unnatural evil chasing him in his dreams?
Born in 1845 in the midst of a savage storm, protagonist John Lewis has special powers--and special nightmares. He can sense and do battle with storms, but a terrible evil is pursuing him in his dreams, intent on his destruction.
As John grows, so do his powers. He begins to build a life for himself, his wife Abby, and their children, and in the wonderful community of New Cove, life seems idyllic. But suddenly, John begins to sense a horrifying storm coming right at him, threatening to destroy everything he's built. Even worse, his demonic dreams are growing stronger and more terrifying. In Gulf of Fury, John must save the town he loves from imminent destruction from the savage storm while facing the demon in his dreams.
Written with fierce intelligence and non-stop chills, Graham creates a saga of love and fortitude intertwined with shocking forces of nature.
New York Times best-selling author Ellen Tanner Marsh has this to say about John Graham's novel: "In Gulf of Fury, John Graham manages to take this unusual premise and weave a tale that is both as gripping in intensity as Erik Larson's Isaac's Storm and as unforgettable as Steven King's The Stand. In starkly chilling prose, Graham presents a masterful story of a lone protagonist grappling against the forces of pure evil."
