Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) January 22, 2007
Jan. 22, 2007 - ADMET Inc., a provider of integrated materials testing systems, will be demonstrating its automatic controller and database systems to test and report the strength of concrete cylinders and beams, cement cubes and other masonry products here at the World of Concrete Expo (ADMET Booth # S13344). Its testing systems comply with all applicable American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) specifications and its database program enables testing labs to share test results with their clients in printed and/or electronic formats.
"ADMET has been providing private-labeled and retrofitted digital control and data reporting systems for concrete testing for 15-plus years," said Richard Gedney, ADMET founder and president. "We know that a successful lab requires not only accurate testing, it also needs efficient process management to ensure that samples are properly tracked and reported in a timely way. Our concrete testing systems are designed to handle the entire process."
Accurate Strength Measurement
ADMET's MegaForce II automatic hydraulic power unit precisely controls the rate of loading and accurately measures compressive strength. It conforms to ASTM specifications for concrete cylinders (ASTM C39) and cement cubes (ASTM C109), as well as cold crush (ASTM C133), concrete beam flexural strength (ASTM C78) and Young's modulus (ASTM C649) testing.
MegaForce II is a user-programmable and password-protected system that offers a fast preload, precise test control and fast return to start. The system increases sample throughput and simultaneously ensures that all tests are performed according to specification. It can be used with ADMET's Gauge Buster Digital Indicator or MTESTWindows Microsoft Windows PC-based Materials Testing System.
For comprehensive, integrated testing, ADMET's Concrete-Traker database program handles the daily activities of a concrete testing laboratory. It is a Microsoft Windows 2000/XP-compatible database program that accepts test data directly from ADMET digital controllers to simplify test reporting, data storage and report generation.
Concrete-Traker manages daily test scheduling and generates concrete cylinder compressive strength reports that combine project, contractor, mix design, field data and strength results in a clear, concise format. Reports can be generated on company letterhead and printed, emailed or stored on a password-protected Web portal where project personnel can view the data using a Web browser.
ADMET's concrete testing approach reduces test times, provides consistent, repeatable test procedures in accordance with ASTM specifications, eliminates operator errors, reduces data entry time and automatically generates reports.
