Leadership Pipeline in a Cross Cultural, Global Organization
Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) January 21, 2007 -- Interaction Associates (IA) will lead a highly interactive presentation on developing leaders on a global scale at the 2006 Global Forum of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
The Global Forum is SHRM's annual conference and exhibition, which this year is titled The Changing Global Workplace Environment and will be held from March 19-21 in Los Angeles.
The IA session, titled Developing a Leadership Pipeline Across the Many Cultures of a Complex, Global Organization, will feature IA senior consultant Alan Price, author of the book Ready to Lead? The session will help attendees tackle the difficult task of accelerating global leadership development.
"Our aim is to use practical frameworks for developing leaders who can think strategically, adapt to threats and opportunities, and develop innovative solutions across silos, functions, and borders," according to Price.
Session participants will gain a thorough understanding of how accelerated leadership development reduces the risk and costs of HR processes, from recruiting to global job rotations.
The IA session will be held on Monday, March 19 from 9-10:15 AM at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza hotel in Los Angeles.
