Valentine's Day with Comic Johnny Steele & Pals in Danville

Chocolates make you fat. Flowers give you allergies. Romantic comedies starring Julia Roberts can cause irreversible brain damage. This February 14th, better you should take yourself out to the 3rd Annual Johnny Steele & Pals Valentines Day Comedy Show. Appearing along with Johnny will be a calvacade of comics, fun, prizes and surprises.

Danville, CA (PRWEB) January 21, 2007 -- Fresh from two jam-packed shows on New Year's Eve in Lafayette, Johnny is rolling into Danville with a bundle of merriment and mischief. You've heard Johnny on QUAKE radio, seen him as co-host on BayTV/KRON's The Show, and laughed along with him and his co-horts on his own award winning Live 105 Morning Show.

Winner of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, Johnny has been a headlining comic for nearly two decades. Johnny has performed all over the U.S. and Europe. Tired of the generic humor in most comedy clubs, Johnny peppers his act with opinions about things that outrage him - greed, materialism, hypocrisy - all the while keeping the audience in stitches.

Bud Freedman, of Improv fame, said Johnny reminded him of an irritated Mort Sahl.

"His tirades about socially unconscious America are brilliant," wrote the Contra Costa Times.

While certainly irreverent, Johnny always works clean. Now he's gathered a group of San Francisco's smartest, over 35-year-old comedians who will keep you thinking as well as laughing. Johnny promised that he and his pals will avoid masturbation, inebriation and defecation humor in all it's forms. Johnny says, if you're over 14-years-old and still mystified, titillated and amused by the workings of the reproductive and digestive organs, you need counseling, not a comedy show.

This show won't be raunchy or dirty, but will be crammed with quizzes, quips witticisms and wisecracks galore. So, single or partnered, get yourself on down to the warm and cozy Village Theatre in Danville on Valentine's Day for an evening of grown up fun.
