Septuagenarian Launches Twenty Year Project to Aid Seniors And Gray Haired Boomers Fight Age Bias and Re-Career Unveiling Thursday. Feb. 25

Septaugenarian unveils project to help Seniors and gray haired Boomers to launch a new career or to re-career out of retirement by marketing their skills and knowledge.

Palisades, NY (PRWEB) January 23, 2007 -- Coming out of a premature retirement, business man and septuagenarian Don Bracken, 71, of Palisades, NY will unveil the 20 Per Cent Club at a discussion group he will be leading at the Citi Center Barnes and Noble in White Plains, NY, Thursday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 PM.

The 20 Per Cent Club will be available to people over fifty years of age -- Seniors and Boomers -- who need to make a career change or to re-career out of retirement in order to finance the longer lives they will be living and are willing to do something about it.

The formation of the Club is a reaction to age bias in the American workplace toward senior citizens and gray haired Boomers, the escalating cost of living, and the long life cycle the American citizen must experience. The Club, which will be available as a courtesy, is fashioned after the 80-20 principle of Pareto Law. The law holds that 80 per cent of production in an organization is usually generated by 20 percent of the work force. The Club's purpose is to help Seniors and Boomers who are of twenty per cent caliber change careers or re-career out of retirement in order to find financial security and possibly a sense of fulfillment.

"We are living much longer because of the great strides made in medicine. The tooth is growing longer every year," says Don Bracken. "The Census Bureau tells us that 54,000 people are over one hundred years of age and for the first time the Bureau is keeping tabs on people who are actually 110 years of age. Most financial planning was done earlier in life when the dollar had greater value and it wasn't realized just how much longer the tooth would grow. Not everyone is ready to go fishing."

Bracken, who is scheduled to do appearances at six Barnes and Noble outlets in the New York metropolitan area, is an organization expert who has enjoyed sizable success as the owner of a marketing and sales organization, successfully written articles on economics, government and American history for newspapers and trade magazines, and is the current owner and publisher of the History Publishing Company, LLC. His book, "Career of Gold, Defeat Age Bias by Re-Careering For The Second Half Of Your Life" (1933909846) is available at web sites and bookstores nationwide.
