Grandstream Networks, Inc. a leading designer and manufacturer of IP Voice and Video endpoints for broadband networks, and GlobalTouch Telecom, the award winning provider of proprietary, vertically-integrated hosted VoIP platforms, today announced an agreement for the resale and supply of the Grandstream GXV-3000 IP Video Phone and the HandyTone 386 and HandyTone 488 Analog Telephone Adaptors to GlobalTouch Telecom's resellers and end users.

"As evidenced earlier this month at the Consumer Electronics Show, the future of today's hyper-competitive telecom sector hinges on the delivery of converged applications and services to consumers over IP Networks," said Gregory O. Welch, CEO of GlobalTouch Telecom. "After extensive testing in our laboratories, we are confident that both the performance and styling of the Grandstream GXV3000 IP Video Phone and the HandyTone ATAs will enable us to compliment our integrated platform and the services we provide to our end-users, partners and various distribution channels, and to grow our worldwide customer base. The GXV-3000 is an exciting addition to our application services and further differentiates us in the market. In addition, the HandyTone series enables us to provide a very exiting, cost-effective, solution to our end-users."

The Grandstream GXV-3000 is an advanced IP video phone based on SIP and H.264 standard, competitively priced and easy to use. The GXV combines sleek design and technology features with excellent picture quality, ease of deployment and broad interoperability with 3rd party SIP products. The GXV-3000 is the first IP video phone that is competitively priced and the first H.264 based IP video phone that supports real-time (up to 30fps) high-quality video at very modest bandwidth level (as low as 32kbps, up to 1Mbps). The phone allows nearly all viewing angles via a large 5.6 inch TFTP adjustable LCD screen and a VGA camera, giving the end-user the ability to have high-quality videoconferences at home or at the office.

The HandyTone Analog Telephone Adaptor series is a comprehensive portfolio of 1 or 2 FXS or FXO port combinations based on SIP standard. These ATAs are lightweight and compact and work with any phone or fax, support a broad range of codecs including G.711, G.729 A/B, iLBC, G.723.1, G.726 and T.38 fax, and offer integrated router, programmable FXO port or dual network ports options. The HandyTone ATAs are ideal for residential users.
