Cell Phone Recycler SellyourCell.com Announces New CEO

SellyourCell.com names Renee Jackson to serve as CEO.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) January 25, 2007 -- SellyourCell.com today announced that Renee Jackson has been named to serve as the company's chief executive officer. Jackson, 51, has served recently as the Financial Planning Manager for a subsidiary of BBA Aviation where she spent four years performing strategic planning as well as budget development and financial management. Previously, she spent 20 plus years with Marriott, International, Walt Disney World and Federal Express in various financial supervisory roles . Jackson is a CPA and holds a B.S. in accounting from Florida A&M University.

Jackson is looking forward to navigating SellyourCell.com through a period of significant growth and innovation as the wireless recycling industry goes from the fringes of the American consciousness to becoming the standard end-of-use venue for wireless devices.

With the aggressive growth being experienced by the wireless industry and the appointment of an experienced professional like Ms. Jackson, SellyourCell.com is very well positioned for considerable growth
Outgoing CEO Keith Ori has expressed full confidence in Jackson's abilities and is bullish on the company's future; "With the aggressive growth being experienced by the wireless industry and the appointment of an experienced professional like Ms. Jackson, SellyourCell.com is very well positioned for considerable growth," Ori said.

On the announcement of her appointment, Jackson expressed several strategic initiatives to company employees and members of the press. Jackson outlined plans for a considerably upgraded website, now due in the second quarter of 2007, complemented by a broadened range of phones the company will offer to purchase, and significant increases in the dollar amounts paid out for specific cell phones.

"We feel the growth of the website and comprehensive realignment of both the scope and price of devices we are offering to buy will attract a much larger consumer audience," Jackson said, adding "We are raising the bar and eliminating barriers to encourage wider consumer acceptance of our services."

In addition, Jackson envisions significant growth opportunity in the Business to Business and fund raising realms. Here companies and not-for-profit groups can actively participate in recycling efforts. This increased focus builds on existing relationships with local and national organizations including the Conway Mom's Club of Orlando and Cell Phones for Soldiers, internationally.

Jackson's appointment also comes on the heels of an announcement from Ebay that SellyourCell.com was named on Ebay's Rethink website as a recycling center for consumers wishing to sell their used cell phone. Jackson characterized this as a very significant step toward mainstreaming cell phone recycling in the consciousness of American consumers.

www.SellyourCell.com is a subsidiary of Rush Ventures Inc., based in Orlando, Florida and is one of the oldest companies offering direct to consumer wireless recycling services. SellyourCell.com continues to be a leader in the wireless recycling industry.
