Maui Business Broker Receives Certified Business Intermediary Designation (CBI) at Conference

The International Business Brokers Association's 2006 business conference recently awarded its prestigious Certified Business Intermediary CBI designation to Tom Caltrider of VR Business Brokers in Hawaii.

Tom Caltrider of Hawaii recently received the prestigious Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation during the International Business Brokers Association's Conference for Professional Development Educational Program and Conference in Reno, Nevada.

As the managing director of VR Business Brokers in Maui, Caltrider was awarded the CBI designation after demonstrating a superior knowledge about the functions and applications of business broker services, documenting practical experience, participating in a rigorous curriculum of at least 60 credit hours of Association courses, attending IBBA Conferences of Professional Development, passing a comprehensive examination, and pledging to uphold and practice IBBA's Code of Ethics. He was presented a plaque certifying the designation by IBBA Chairman Gary Johnson, CBI who said, "Tom Caltrider's achievement is a significant professional accomplishment that identifies him among America's most highly qualified and credentialed business intermediaries. It is the hallmark of excellence in our profession."
