Broadwick Announces Record Year

Online communications company more than doubles its customer base to 7500 and sales to nearly $3 million, while adding 25 new jobs.

Broadwick Corp. today announced its end-of-the year results for 2006, showing an increase in customers of 104%, from 3706 to 7580 and growing annual sales over 120% to $2.9 million. Fourth quarter sales came in at $1.05 million and the company has a current annual-run rate of $4.53 million.

Broadwick sent out more than 621 million permission-based emails on behalf of its customers and added 25 new jobs during the year, growing its team from 18 to 43 employees in 2006 .

Version 4.0 of the Company's IntelliContact email marketing software was released in August and IntelliContact Enterprise, designed for mid-sized and larger organizations, was released in December. IntelliContact 4.0 allows businesses, non-profit organizations, and associations to easily create, send, and track email newsletters, surveys, autoresponders, RSS feeds, and blogs.

With the $500,000 capital raised from NC IDEA in May 2006 Broadwick was able to invest in profitable customer growth, increased development, and growing the team while maintaining a positive operating cash flow in the second half of the year.

Broadwick recently announced it will be seeking $4 million in additional investment capital in mid-2007 to invest further in customer acquisition, product development and adding to a world-class management team.

The phenomenal growth of the company continues into 2007, with the customer count as of the third week in January already more than 8,000.
